Estrodot Coming Back!!!
« on: June 02, 2025, 05:50:33 PM »

Excited!!!!!

Just popped to my local boots to pick up my myriad of prescriptions, and they advised me that they’re getting Estrodot back in from tomorrow!

To say I nearly cried is an understatement!! I’ve been having to sub with evorel for the last few months and I’m so done with having a “rustling butt”!!!

Hopefully normal service will now resume!

Woo hoo

Wow, that's excellent news... The current SSP is about to expire on 4th June for the 100s, so we'll see if it gets renewed....

How did you get on with evorel apart form the size. Same as you but feel I either absorb more/less or not consistently .
I’m sensitive to changes, but can’t be arsed every time there’s a shortage going through this. Trying to find a consistent supplier. Looking at gel/femseven/Progynova TS?

I had an immediate drop after switching to Evorel. I put the Evorel on the morning and that night I literally did not sleep for one single second. I laid awake all night with my heart beating hard and fast and eventually gave up at 5am and got up. I also got an ache in my ovaries that night, which apparently was the result of my brain registering the drop in estrogen and trying to trigger them to wake up and produce more. (I've had that before when coming off hormonal contraception.)

Luckily I still had some Estrodots left so I put those back on and everything was okay again....

I’m definitely not good on them , but ran out of estradot! It’s so weird that they can be so different but trying to get the gp or pharmacist to believe me 🤣. But like you say the change is so quick it’s mental! X

Sadly the SSP has been extended to 10th October now so it doesn’t look like they will be back any time soon in a reliable way.
