Has anyone else with Rosacea found that it has gone mental now they are menopausal ? I have suffered with rosacea for nearly 30 years but I am now finding it is affecting my chest and back not just my face 😭😭😭😭

I believe that there are a couple of ladies with the condition, hopefully they will be along.

Hi, I have Rosacea this appeared not long after I had my first child and slowly got worse. I’m sure there is a hormonal connection. It only affected my face and I ended up on antibiotics tetracycline as topical treatment wasn’t working. My experience was that it got better when I started peri menopause and then oestrogen only patches but then flared up a little bit when I stated testosterone gel, it eventually settled. I only rarely get a few of the little spots now but I’m very prone to flushing on face chest and neck. Have you spoken to your GP about it being on your back etc as I wasn’t aware this could happen but obviously I’m not a dermatologist! It’s just that it could be something else as I found generally that my skin became hypersensitive to all sorts of products I’d used for years with no issue. I also stopped eating dairy for stomach issues and this helped my rosacea a lot but I get that’s quite drastic.
