oestrogel withdrawal sympton
« on: May 01, 2025, 01:40:01 PM »

I just entered into the menopause stage ( one year after my last period), I went to see
My GP and she gave me a bottle of oestrogel which is a sample, I have not used it,  because I still need Progesterone. but I am eager to try it out  maybe just for a few days then i will stop, will there be any withdrawal symptom?

during peri , I used progesterone, was never on estrogen .    so this would be first time,
yes I still have womb.  I am just very nervous after reading posts on how people react on HRT,  I have MCS multiple chemical sensitivity, BP is on the low side, high anxiety and  many other symptoms i assume are menopause related ....  Doc prescribed progesterone and she gave me a bottle of estrogel (sample), I have not get a chance to fill my prescription for progesterone yet ,  but anxious to try the gel by itself, to see how I will react for a few days, I just wondering if I only on the gel for that short amount of time and stop using it , will I be suffering from withdrawal symptom?

Only the same oestrogen deficiency symptoms you already have, I don't think it can make it worse. Looking on here isn't a great place for an overview of hrt, you tend the few that have problems. The many who are perfectly fine on the first one they try have no need to be here. If you're worried start on a low dose and work up slowly.
