Vagifrux irritation
« on: April 17, 2025, 06:43:56 AM »

I posted a few weeks ago about starting HRT and using vagifrux / estriol cream and having really bad external thrush like symptoms

Just before I started on the vagifrux that my GP gave me I had used Vagifem which I got privately from Boots and I had no problem with this at all or the estriol cream either

As soon as I started the vagifrux the external thrush like symptoms started

And I’m still suffering now so almost 6 weeks

So im wondering could the external itching be caused by the vaigifrux
I saw my doctor who is fab very HRT positive as I thought it might be LS but she said no

I didn’t think it was vagifrux as I didn’t think there was any difference in them and its external but this the only thing I can think off

Yep.  Many find it irritates, it may be the fillers or packaging.  Ring your Surgery and ask for Vagifem and continue your regime with that. S top the Vagifrux.

Thank you

So  even though it’s used externally it can cause external itching like what I’m
getting at the moment
I don’t have any internal itching/ discharge  at all

There are too many posts on here about the side effects of Vagirux. There is definitely a problem with whatever they add to it, a lot of women ask to be put back on Vagifem.

I would stop to C whether the symptoms ease at all, I fear that U need a different product. Do read the VA treads on the Forum, make notes ;-)
