Hi Oliviasmum
Try not worry.  I’ve been where you are 5 times and every time I’ve been ok.

The guidance is to change the type of hrt or adjust the progesterone if all tests are negative. X
Thank you xx

The BMS guidance on post menopausal bleeding advises that there is no need to stop taking hrt whilst waiting for tests.
My GP asked me to stop until I’ve been seen by the hospital.
I don’t think my breast discomfort has been factored in and I was referred because of bleeding when it was only a slight brown loss when I wiped myself.
I’m trying to think sensibly and not let my imagination run away with me.

Thank you for replies it means a lot x

Hi as the others have said , i would assume it is more likey to be low progetrone, I have now had this twice on conti , they wanted me to have a coil but i am going to ask to try a nother route first as not keen on a coil. My lining was 7 too first time, my gp just told me it like having  afake period, and if i take my pach off for a week i will be fine, I did but the bleeding returned i am now under a different gp, but i was told never remove the patch while waiting to be seen by her
Read up about hystoscopy before you go and good luck

Thank you so much for your message. I too genuinely think it’s more likely to be hormonal due to the sore breasts and then the brown spotting. They did try to fit me with a Merina coil but I have atrophy and they struggled to insert it!
I also have severe spinal issues and this just put the tin hat on it. Having HRT also helps me better deal with the spinal pain and I also suffer with palpitations with strangely stop once I’m on the HRT. It’ difficult being off it but fingers crossed it’ll get sorted.
Once again thank you to you and everyone else who has supported me xx

If you have VA I'd suggest you get some topical oestrogen for that too. The gp couldn't get a mirena into me either because the next of the cervix wouldn't open but there's a specialist place they sent me to (not sure what they called it). If you want a mirena you could treat the VA first and ask for a referral to a specialist.
