Generic progesterone
« on: April 04, 2025, 06:49:40 PM »

I've just been given generic micronised progesterone made by Exeltis but it isn't called Gepretix, it just says Progesterone on the pack. Can anyone confirm this is suitable to use vaginally like Utrogestan and Gepretix? Just says for oral use only in the instructions.   Ta.

I was told by my private specialist that only Utrogestan could be used vaginally so I would question this with your doctor.

Thanks for your rely. My GP said Utrogestan shouldn't be used vaginally so I won't get much help there!
