Ovesse
« on: April 04, 2025, 07:23:00 AM »

Hi everyone,

You’ve probably seen my recent posts about VA and getting help as I’m only 37.

(I think) I’ve managed to order a tube of Ovesse from Boots website. I had to fill in a load of questions about age, symptoms, medical history etc but didn’t need a GP prescription for this. I’ve had an email saying my order has been dispatched to the warehouse so I think I’ve passed the questions(had to lie about my age and say 51).

I was just wondering, as I’m also taking Estradiol pessaries twice a week now which have helped the inside, can I start putting the Ovesse on the outside only? It’s mainly down each side of my vulva, my rear and the bit in between the rear and the front if that makes sense. Just didn’t want to overdose with it being Estriol or cause worse symptoms. Just after advice  if anyone else has used this.

Thanks

Go ahead and use it as you say.
In comparison to you I use the pessaries every day and the cream on the outside twice a day.

By using these products over four years I am now able to return to having normal baths with toiletries I love to use, before my bathroom consisted of ugly industrial type packaging. Local oestrogen has brought back my femininity, some might say fickle but it means a lot to me.

Good luck  :)

Thanks Ayesha, that’s so great to hear. My HRT patches alone didn’t help that issue and now even with the pessaries they only help the inside which is great but the outside is still bad. It goes in a cycle of being dry, then itchy then sore. Some parts of the month is not too bad and others is awful ie right before ovulation that’s why I know its hormonal. I’m hoping Ovesse helps me too, I too struggle with certain shower gels and deodorants that never used to bother me before. I just want to feel like me again  ::)
