HRT and feeling light headed
« on: March 11, 2025, 01:41:46 PM »

I am on the 3rd week of my HRT patches and I am finding it a real roller coaster in terms of energy.
I am on day 4 of Progesterone patch. Yesterday I had so much energy but in the evening started to feel light headed..woke up today and still feeling the same. Anyone else went through adjustment like this when starting HRT? Anxiety is better which is a positive.

:welcomemm:  mayB U 'did too much' yesterday so burned off energy levels = light headed feelings?

3 weeks is early yet - if U can tolerate the regime with a bit of tweaking if necessary, U can decide in 3-4 months how it's working. Which symptom did U want to ease first?

Browse round, make notes;-)

Yes, I may have overdone it yesterday.
Anxiety has been reduced and hot flushes are starting to lessen. I think it was more a case of, what the he'll is this now, when I started feeling light headed.
Thanks for the reply.

MayB overall your whole diet - make a note of what you eat/drink for 3-5 days 2 C whether U need to alter anything ....... I was advised to eat every 3 hours 24/7 to ease anxiety surges. I try to kept this routine now.  Also keep well hydrated.

Let us know how you get on.
