Can I take utrogestan at night if I have mirena coil and Estradot patches?

It really depends on why you feel you need utrogestan and then whether or not your prescriber will agree to it.  The mirena is seen as the progesterone component of HRT as it protects the lining of the uterus from building up, so therefore no other progesterone/progestin should be required.  However utrogestan provides other benefits such as better sleep for many women, so its understandable why some women want it alongside the mirena.

This is absolutely possible - think about all the premenopausal women using the mirena for contraception.

As it doesn't prevent ovulation, they are releasing healthy amounts of their own progesterone alongside it.

The only thing I would say is that regarding long term safety it is the progestogen component that slightly increases the risk of breast cancer with menopause hormone therapy, and there is no long term data about using both micronised progesterone and the IUS in the context of MHT.

You may consider this theoretical small risk worth accepting if for example the micronised progesterone helps you sleep, and for whatever reason the IUS was also necessary eg to control bleeding or hyperplasia.

Also you might find the NHS unwilling to fund both products.
