What happens to Vagifem tablet ?
« on: February 27, 2025, 01:58:34 PM »

So a question to those who use vagifem Does anyone know how it dissolves once it’s in there It’s tiny white and round so this morning something white a bit waxy and much bigger appears when I was showering Now I changed from Intrarosa a few weeks ago which is a bullet shaped waxy pellet but just can’t imagine that something has remained up there all this time Obviously it’s not an area that gets flushed out because we all know that’s a no no especially with atrophy
Any thoughts anyone

I don't think they just dissolve as such. I think they expand as they absorb moisture and become glue like. I occasionally find a sticky blob on the end of an applicator as if the previous one has only been half absorbed.

Yep,they stick to your insides, hence why you can use them first thing in the morning, they won't just plop out  :)

An extremely hard, dry pessary and once up there it stays. I have only ever once seen a tiny trace of it on the applicator next day when inserting another.
It was a tiny, cream like consistency not waxy.
