Estradiol hemihydrate Evorel
« on: February 19, 2025, 06:39:16 PM »

Hello all  :)
Is there a difference between Evorel 50 sold separately or Evorel 50 in the Evorel Sequi box? As one is described as estradiol patch and the other as estradiol hemihydrate, I am so nervous of anything different as I started hrt about 4 months ago due to severe anxiety, and don’t want to rock the boat! thank you for reading

The only difference is the progestin norethisterone is present in the combined patch.

The type and dose of estradiol is identical.

It is also the same estrogen as your ovaries have been producing most of your life so please don't be scared of it.

Thank you ☺️ are they both hemihydrate then? I was surprised the packaging was different too, as I thought they would just look the same as the ones in the sequi pack x

I think its just estradiol in the normal Evorel and hemihydrate in the conti ones. I know Estradot and Estraderm are hemihydrate, so are Lenzetto spray and Sandrena gel. I was allergic to Evorel, it made my asthma worse, but I get on ok with Estradot, and Sandrena x
