Evoral Conti Patches - bad anxiety 😕
« on: February 07, 2025, 06:31:06 PM »

Hi everyone,
I have been taking Evorel Conti Patches for 5 months.

I couldn't get any for one week and felt a lot better not taking them?
I am sure that I the Progesterone that is in these Patches I am allergic to.
Like many members here my activity levels have gone through the roof since taking these.

I wasn't foolish enough just to stop taking them after a week without.

I've heard suggestions to cut the patch in half?

Are there any members who have tried Evorel Conti Patches and had similar experiences?

Any suggestions?
Love to you all

Why not try a different progestogen given this is the component that usually causes problems?

Options include micronised progesterone, desogestrel, slynd, mirena IUS or even provera rather than losing the benefits of estrogen.

Tibolone is another option with estrogenic, androgenic and progestogenic actions.

Dydrogesterone is also generally well tolerated but only available in oral combination products.

If you have persevered with your current treatment for 5 months and side effects are still ongoing, it is worth trying something else at this point.

Hi,
Thank-you for your reply.
I had a TIA (small stroke)18 months ago so any tablet form hrt is not available.

Tried the coil fitted but found it too difficult to insert. Apparently through age your Cervix changes - and it gets too difficult to find. Which happened in my case.

So I'm left with patches or gel?
Sandrina was good but need a similar Progesterone to go with it?
