Feeling down advice.
« on: January 22, 2025, 08:07:58 PM »

I am sorry to repost.

I am early on with Imvexxy 10weeks now. I was using Estragyn cream in small amounts a couple times a week. But noticed it was irritating me more than helping so pulled back to once a week.

I saw my gp last Friday who noted I have slight irritation now on my left vaginal wall. I noticed when I use coconut oil on the outside of anything close to the vagina it would sting. So I am not sure if it is the coconut oil, the cream nor am I sure what the vaginal walls would look like with 10weeks of estrogen?

The left side in earlier pics was pale, now it’s more pinkish and less pale.

Still have burning, worst is post pee or when I sit. I do feel the dryness like a tampon stuck inside. I have waited on a moisturizer cuz I don’t know how it will react. Still have bladder issues at night which is disheartening.

I am all for using vaginal cream estrogen but I may ask to switch to a lower dose Estragyn is .1%.

I am seeing a new Gyneo for a second opinion on Friday. At a menopause clinic so maybe they can be more helpful.

So many of you are thriving and doing well and I want to be that person too. Tech in peri menopause but numbers in my blood panel are trending towards menopause.

I am so depressed with all of this cuz I don’t know when I can go back to work. I am a fitness instructor and built my work around that, trained certified. And now I see a black hole of nothing

What should I be asking the new Gyneo ?

Go through your posts on here and make notes, you already have all the questions and know your recent past history of symptoms then leave it to the gynae who will hopefully be more competent in her response to you.
You are well able to express yourself on here, do the same when in conversation with the gynae and good luck.

Thank you for replying.

I have been dealing with this issue for so long that I am losing the will to live.

I don’t recognize who I am anymore. I can manage mood swings or night sweats or hot flashes. But this is horrible and I am doing everything that has been told to me. And to still have issues is beyond disheartening

I can't offer any advice on the issue but I do think you need to make it very clear to the new gynae just how much of a negative impact this is having on your life and mental health. Keep pushing for answers and follow ups. They need to know you aren't coping so you aren't left to get on with it.

I will.

When I have moments of feeling good, I feel so amazing. But those other moments of burning or uncomfortable really get me down.

It is a women’s clinic so I hope they can shed some light on things downstairs. At 10 weeks I thought I would see some sort of improvement with the bladder and burn issues.

My family gp said to use Crisco oil well the gp suggested coconut oil. Neither options seem to be well informed.

Life is passing me by and I often feel I am standing still

I want to live a full and happy life but the issues downstairs really have gotten to me.

The burn after peeing or sitting seems to annoy it the most. I hydrate a lot during the day but because I have bladder issues I tend to pee it out and it is this never ending cycle

And also last night I used Estragyn cream  3 pea size amounts and used my finger to massage it in. I normally use 1. I thought I would be okay.

It felt fine when applied, went to bed woke up to pee. Came back to bed and had intense burning. I had not felt that burning at night for a couple of months.
Reminded me of when I used Premarin and when I had inflammation or when I was on nothing.

I used Imvexxy Tuesday night and did not have that feeling.

This morning I went to pee was okay again.

Am I reacting to Estragyn? (I had read about it and it’s used to for ppl with estrogen sensitivity. Uses one estrogen versus Premarin which uses 3)

It scared me cuz I had not had that feeling overnight, that intense for so long

Update went  to this women clinic, she took some notes asked some questions
Than told me she doesn’t want to step on another drs toes. In regards to medication or increasing doses.

She also said you are running out of options with regards to creams. Like it was my fault my body didn’t agree with it.

Further she didn’t even look at me. Sent me on my way. Booked with my old Gyneo for Feb 11.

So yeah you wonder why I feel so dejected and down. I just need someone who actually cares to help me
