It was lovely.  Grey drizzle.  Not cold.  Hotel needs tarting up, staff lovely, view great.  Home now, can't do any laundry as I haven't any powder

Last year we left everything to the last minute and it was really hard to find something decent. So for 2025 we decided not to make the same mistake and went with selfcatering.co.uk. I found it really useful that they also have more “unusual” options, like treehouses, renovated churches, or even private islands.
In the end, we chose something more classic, a large house in Pembrokeshire, since we’re going with several families together. The price was reasonable for what it offered, and I like that the site has clear reviews and realistic photos.

Sophya - we never book through an agency but deal directly with the owners.  Years ago we used 'Pets Welcome' when we travelled with our dog.     I've read recently about people booking with a company to find that the holiday has been sub-let several times down the line so if there is a problem, no one takes responsibility.   

Enjoy Pembrokeshire.  There's a very small Chocolate Shop in St Davids  and fab views.   I crave a view
