I was wondering if anyone else has experienced bleeding problems with the utrogestan alternative called Zentiva? A few months ago, my pharmacist switched me on to this, and since then I have been bleeding. Ive had a scan, and the lining is thin (3.2 mm).
the consultant nurse from the hospital has written to my GP to request that the prescription is changed from "micronized progesterone" to the branded Utrogestan, but I'm still waiting for that to be done. The bleeding is starting to get me down.
I did enquire about having a Mirena fitted, but Ive been told that it probably would not be possible, as I had an ablation about 15 years ago, which would make fitting almost impossible (That might explain why when I had a hysteroscopy about 8 years ago it was really unbearable).
Anyway, Id be really interested to hear if anyone else has had bleeding after being switched?
Oh, just remembered, around the same time, I also switched from Vagifem to Intrarosa (suggested by meno specialist), but surely that would not cause bleeding
