Hey guys.
I hope you're doing well.
I am sort of new here, but have posted once before.
I'm really not one for taking medicine, but I've been prescribed HRT in anticipation of probably having to take it quite soon, the way things are going!
I asked for Utrogestan and Sandrena specifically as I wanted body identical progesterone. I was prescribed Evorel before that, but never took it.
I've read the info leaflets and both Utrogestan and Sandrena say they are for postmenopausal women only. The Sandrena one says to avoid if you are menstruating??!!
I am presuming that you can actually take both if you still have periods. And just take Utrogestan for part of your cycle. Or are they not suitable at all if you are having regular periods?
Not much info online, especially for Sandrena, so I had to abandon my research in rage and frustration!!😁
Also my GP didn't ask any medical history etc.
I'm nearly 51 and still having pretty on-the-dot 28 day cycle periods. But experiencing some symptoms -e.g anger, mood swings, overwhelm etc. And my periods I guess have become a bit more unpredictable in terms of length/flow etc.
Thanks v much!😊
