Teary all the time
« on: November 29, 2024, 11:16:49 PM »

Just the above really, lately I have been getting myself so upset and worked up and can’t even explain why. I just find myself feeling so lost and alone and then burst into tears. I’m due to start HRT next week when my period comes and really hope it helps along with other symptoms I’ve had, as I’m so sick of it now. Why am I crying all the time for no reason whatsoever.  :'( I have a gorgeous two year old daughter who worships the ground me and her dad walk on I have no reason to feel like this. May I add it’s up and down, some days I feel fine and back to normal then it comes out of nowhere.

U have every reason, it's known as hormonal upheaval!  Be kind top yourself?  How old R U, what are you periods up to?  Mine waxed and waned for several years then disappeared.  The night B4 a bleed began I would sob even when a period wasn't due.

R these symptoms cyclical?  MayB keeping a mood/food/symptom diary would b e of use?  Which HRT have U been prescribed and which symptom would you like to ease first?

Hi and thanks for your reply. I am 37 and have only just came off the pill in October so my “real” periods only came back in November. That one was quite light and previous to me being on the pill they used to be heavy but manageable. I know light periods can be a sign of low oestrogen.

I will certainly keep a note of when my moods go up and down and see if it’s linked to long cycle. I am due on my period in two days so that could explain the tears. I am feeling fine today though.

I have been prescribed Evorel Sequi patches so the combination ones which I am going to start as soon as my period comes. I am wanting help with my moods, hair loss, itchy skin and to get better sleep as I’m waking a lot in the night and staying awake for hours, then feeling knackered all day.

Hopefully the patches will help with this x
