Some people stop getting bleeds completely however others continue to get withdrawal bleeding.
It depends partly on the doses used and on your own individual physiology.
If you have no contraindications, the combined pill taken continuously can be a better option to manage this stage instead of trying to fit in sequential HRT around your own cycle. This often doesn't work out well, leading to irregular bleeding, and often more days spent bleeding overall than if you had taken nothing, or if you took continuous HRT.
The pill shuts down your cycle and adds back a consistent low dose of E and P every day, eliminating bleeding and hormonal ups and downs.
