Had results back from the swab test cultured at the hospital on the doctors request. It would appear the strain is still Glabrata. Apparently, a difficult strain to treat. Trust me to get that particular strain. The doctor has said to continue the Boric Acid pessaries as this is the best treatment for Glabrata. I am having better days, but last night was aching most of the night. Still one Boric pessaries to use tonight and then I might try another weeks worth like I had to last year, then do twice a week. I now use vagifem in the morning every other day. Ceased using the estriol cream as it may have been that that caused the thrush. Pleased I kept a diary last time because symptoms and days when I ache are pretty much the same. Hopefully this will all soon be over.
