Ah man fed up so am 52 think I’m just out of peri no idea about periods as only bled due to all different hrt combos
Currently Evorel conti did try femseven conti but kept falling off was itchy put tegaderm on it and couldn’t stand the itch
I’m not on meds for diabetes so diet control and I keep having hypos ,I now have blood monitor but I think and my nurse asked consultant as it wasn’t just me as to why this happening as it shouldn’t be,my hba1c is 48 so bang on
Has anyone else had this with diabetes? It’s like for gods sake am going through enough as it is and I genetically have type 2
Any ideas ? I’ve added 0.25 ish of sandrena gel to conti yesterday and today to see if helps or whether I have to go to 75 patch and utro which I don’t get on with great but no Mirena as it fell out! Xxx

Morning.  Did your Nurse Practitioner explain why the Mirena fell out?

I think that U need to be seen by a diabetic nurse or Consultant or dietician on a regular basis, there mayB a nurse attached to the Surgery.  Otherwise do a search for a UK support and ask the question there.  I think that hormones can affect other parts of the system, i.e. thyroid function can go awry.

Thyroid normal am happy so assuming it’s all anxiety from hormones …what to do next now

When do U speak with the diabetic nurse next who will need to mayB see those results.  Also 'within normal limits' means different things to different medics  . in that some GPs won't investigate further: T4, T5 I think : even when a patient continues to complain of symptoms.

The hypos need investigating probably B4 U proceed with other treatments.  MayB keeping a mood/food/symptom diary would be useful to chart ups and downs.
