I have been for a hysteroscopy today to investigate a thickened lining. The consultant who did it said I had a large cavity and as such she couldn't really see anything apart from the water. She did however get a really good biopsy sample (apparently!).
Because I was all stressed about the procedure, I didn't ask her what she meant about a large cavity. I've since looked it up when I got home and a) wished I hadn't and b) wished I'd asked her. Does anyone have any idea what she may have meant? Can a Uterus be naturally large or is there something going on in there

Also, is it normal to bleed after? It's been a few hours now and am very achy and have light bleeding?
