Sugar and eestrogen
« on: October 16, 2024, 07:15:38 AM »

Morning, has anyone noticed a large rise in eestorgen after a very large amount of sugar? My oestrodoil levels went v v high, my diet was horrendous the few weeks before ( binged on choc, crispsl etc)I have lowered estrogen but now having symptoms of too low and my oestrodoil levels showing under 300 1/2 through patch, over a number of blood tests. Trying to make sense of it all! I am post menopausal and also on progesterone. Thanks  :)

Morning.  mayB keeping a mood/food/symptom diary would be of use to chart progress?

Also I have had to review my over all diet in the last couple of years, cutting out ultra processed foods which are loaded with literally, foods that aren't edible until processed!    :o

Thank for replying. Yes I have been doing that and have completely overhauled my diet. Did you notice a change in your hormones after cutting out the processed foods? I am thinking I spiked my oestrodol numbers with the food and in the last few mths diet has helped. May need more estrogen again though. Thanks:))

I'm way ahead of most ladies on here with rising/falling hormonal levels.

Apart from being very thirsty the night B4 a period and sobbing that night .......... I've been lucky in not noticing how food affects hormones.  Guts yes hence the change in diet.
