This is a genuine ask. I don’t ever get replies to my questions. I just wondered if I’ve been blocked. It’s ok if I have. I would just like confirmation.

If you don't get replies it's worth bumping it. Many people use the 'unread posts' option rather than going through each forum and sometimes the system seems to lose them.

I just thought I must have said something out of turn. If that is the case, I respect that as I understand some forums work this way.
Just seems odd that I don’t receive replies. Lots of hits but no replies. But thank you for replying! I feel a little more human now!🙂

The number of hits don't just relate to forum members as, apart from the private lives thread, the posts can be read by non members who are able to read but not respond. At least I think that's right. I'll look for one of your posts and reply so you can see if it's all working ok

I've encountered this too. It can be a bit disheartening when you're looking for support but don't take it personally it just depends on who is around at the time and if they can relate or help. I personally find the website isn't the easiest to use and I'd probably use it more if there was an app.

For me it totally depends on what you are asking. I know, after years of being on the forum, I am far from text book. So I dont always  get a lot of replies if my post is quite specific. I nowadays post a lot of my queries on FB groups where people are going through more similar experiences to me.

I would never reply to a post if I don't have anything useful to add (in my mind  - maybe when I do add, it's still not useful  ) because I find it frustrating if my specific thread gets bombarded with replies that don't really move the topic on. I'm usually looking for first hand experience of something.

So other members might do the same? I don't know.

Don't lose heart. There are loads of FB groups too. Just dip in/out and see where you can get help for your specific query. Xx

Hello ladies.


I dip in and out of the forum and only reply to posts where I hope I can contribute something relevant.

If anyone is blocked their name appears on the forum page but their post doesn't, instead there is a message saying ' you are ignoring this user '.
 To be honest I use this facility in relation to one MM member to save what is left of my sanity lol.
