Who would you dress as?
« on: September 14, 2024, 08:33:37 PM »

jillydoll asked the question:

Many years ago I was a black/white cat: Mum made a very long tail in black material which we stuffed with 100s [it seemed like] rolled up tights!  Whiskers were pipe cleaners, can't remember how we stuck them onto my face  :-\

I'm more like Worzel Gummaedge these days  ;D

Ohhh is this when I dressed as an Elephant in the school play?

Youve jogged my memory, stuffing my mom’s old tights into something or other, can’t remember what now. Tights certainly were recycled back in the day.  ;D

I'd be Morticia. Love the long black wig and white makeup  ;D

I dressed up as Amy Winehouse and sang a couple of her songs at my friend's 50th a few years ago. I had the massive beehive (which I stuck a fake cigarette in  ;D) and several "tattoos". I was Amy for a few hours  :o

I remember bee-hives the 1st time round ....... my cousin spent hours putting mine 'up' and Dad was furious  :o so she spent hours taking it 'down'.  Can't remember whether it suited me/not.
