Can anyone recommend a good place for bra fitting, that actually gives you your correct size?

I think Brassimo is suppose to be good, but I'm not big in that department

Many years ago after breast surgery I tried 3 very well known stores: 1 remains in business : and had 3 different measurements so I stopped wearing one

Yes M&S are good.   Plenty of choices for the bra’s too

It also depends on the Company who manufactures them.  Best to go in and try several : remembering to lift arms high, up and down, sit and stand to make sure that the garment is stable and unlikely to rise up.  I loved front fasening designs when I did buy them.

While we are on the subject of bras, does anyone else find underwires uncomfortable? I wear only sports bras now with a racer back as it's much more comfortable but would love to be able to wear an underwired. Apparently you can get ones with 'soft' underwires that are more flexible but the ones I saw were best part of £100 which I'm not willing to pay. Maybe I could take an old bra to be altered with a flexible wire inserted.

I'm fine with underwired bras, but my mum has gone onto the non underwired sports type bras.

I love Boux Avenue,it's been the only place that has given me bras that actually fit my petite booblets
