Expert by experience with b12. The level of 250 for b12 is severe. Go to the pernicious anemia society form on health unlocked.  They will answer any questions.

B12 deficiency is real, serious, misunderstood and will cause permanent neurological damage if left untreated.  Docs ignore it despite this.  Get informed and start treating yourself.  The proper treatment depends on your situation.

Thank you. I am on a couple of fb pages regarding b12 and PA. Turns out my cousin has PA and possibly an aunt. I normally don't fancy self injecting without guidance from GP like recommended on these pages.
I had more bloods taken recently and GP was really nice. She said my folate, ferritan and b12 were all just in the normal range so to start supplementing them all. My vit d has came up just into normal range after 9monthd of supplement.
My cholesterol was high also so dealing with that at a separate appointment when surgeries are back to normal.

Didn't like increase to 4 pumps so sticking with 3. A lot of things have disappeared and got some improvement, some haven't changed to Newson consultant asked me to speak to GP as a lot of my blood result levels were just in the normal range. I don't need testosterone as levels were good.
Newson and my GP both agree that I am perimenopause but there is also other things going on. I'm still waiting on my neuro referral from last Feb so hopefully I hear soon.

Waiting leaves people in limbo  >:(. R U able to take a cancellation appt., mayB worth ringing the Clinic to make sure that you have been referred and ask about how they deal with cancellations?
