Severe crying
« on: May 14, 2024, 08:21:45 AM »

Just me again
Havebt really got anyone in the know family or friends so on here again...

I'm crying so hard alk day yesterday, today and which started from last week. With very low mood and physical anxiety

Is this a huge drop in oestrogen? Does low oestrogen cause this? Sorry if I've asked before just so I know

U could have continued on your thread so that responses don't become lost.  mayB add this to the 1 that you had yesterday?

You may be better off posting everything on one thread, as you have several separate ones now.
Emma can probably merge them together.

When you say “severe crying” what do you mean? Crying out of no where? Crying if someone upsets you? Crying at a tv advert?

Are you on any anti depressants right now? If not, would it be worth speaking your GP? All the symptoms you describe, appear to be indicative of low oestrogen. But if you are peri, fluctuations happen continuously.

I think it would be worth keeping a diary of all these symptoms and when they happen.

Are you under a menopause specialist or just GP?

Hi Nas thank you as always for replying I'm in such a low place with hormones at the mo.

I'm under both....but this last week has really taken a huge dip....went to go fir a job...stepped on the pavement bang crying...and I mean sobbing for no reason at all - no work ot relationship problems.
That was Tuesday....since then its continued very low mood, slightly angry at times and physical anxiety.
So thus is pointing to a drop in oestrogen?

It can be a sign of low oestrogen.

Sounds like a real dip in oestrogen. Peri is brutal with its fluctuations I think.

Can you contact your meno
specialist for advice? Would a prescribed beta blocker/ anti anxiety med help in the interim, just to dampen it all down so you can think straight? 🙂
