Has anyone had any experiences with veniflaxine?  I've been on it fir a few months now, and am on 150mg.  My GP changed me to it from sertraline.  My mood feels OK for a while then seems to drop o ce I'm used to the higher dose.  It also makes me dizzy when I lie down and get up again.  I felt much better on sertraline but she said that I had maxed out on it as I was taking 200mg.  I've recently had a coil inserted, as I'm sensitive to progesterone.  I dint know if I need to up the dise or try a different AD.  My GP can be quite dismissive sometimes and I feel it's a trouble to get her to try and understand what's going on.  Anybadvice would be so helpful  ❤️❤️

When do U take the Venlafaxine?  My mood dips occasionally - how is your diet as this may co-incide with energy levels.

As regards menopause issues U could ask for a referral to a dedicated menopause clinic.

Normally take it in the morning.  Trying to be good with diet, but it's never easy.  I have already seen a private menopause specialist.  She is leaving the AD side of things to my GP.  I've started taking B vit complex and magnesium to see if this helps

Dizziness can be caused by low oestrogen.

How R your VitD and thyroid function levels?

I have an underactive thyroid and am on thyroxine.  Been on it since my late 20's.  Checked every year.  Currently taking estraderm 75.  Dizzy spells only since taking the venlaflaxine.  Love the sun, so in it every opportunity I can.  Think perhaps velaflaxine isn't for me.
