Hi. I've been on Tostran testosterone gel for 3 months, and discovered my blood pressure has gone sky high (I'm now hypertensive, when my BP was low average prior)

I didn't consider there could be any issue with Tostran until I read the patient info from the company, which says hypertension under the common side effects section (1 in 10 patients)

I'm on no other new meds to have caused it, or any lifestyle changes etc.

So I'll be coming off it. It's not worth the risks to me.

Has anyone else come off testosterone for whatever reason, and if so, how did your GP advise you?
My GP will be the first port of call, but getting to speak to one here takes days. They aren't very knowledgeable anyway.

I can't find info online on stopping (whether it has to be tapered etc) and realise no medical advice can be given here as such, but it would help to know what the GP's of others stated how to stop.
