Hi

For weeks now I’ve had the same song going round my head 24/7. I’ve been told it can be caused by anxiety and is relatively common.

Does anyone else suffer with this?

Due my health anxiety I’m convinced I’ve got schizophrenia :-(

Join the Ear Worm Club ........ I've had this since a young child, apparently I would whistle through my teeth, annoying my Dad.  I had no awareness unless he reminded me to 'stop'.

If I have a particularly annoying Worm, I have to listen to another more acceptable tune

yes I have ear worms have had them since 2022. I dont mind if the songs a decent one but its when the crap songs get stuck in my head. I have tinnitus so i just thought it was part of my tinnitus

I do have bad tinnitus too. I’d just never had this before!

Stupidly I googled it and you never get a good outcome do you? I’ve had myself convinced if I tell anyone I’d end up sectioned 😨

tberes a really good book that helped me in my early days with the tinnitus called rewiring tinnitus by glen schweitzer. how long have you had tinnitus and has it worsened or stayed the same.

if you need to get sectioned then i do as well!!!

Oh I’ll have look at the book.
I’ve had tinnitus for years now- probably 40 but it’s much worse since I had Covid.
At least we’ll have company if we get sectioned 🙈🤣 x

I've had tinnitus for about 40 years and am no madder now than I was then (though people have questioned my sanity at times  ).

Yes Nik ear worms very common and particularly noticeable when you are anxious too.
I’m in the tinnitus club too. 30+ years and in both ears. Very loud

For ladies of a certain age  tinnitus is all those years standing by the speakers at rock concerts 

Charabanc fuelled up.  Seat belts checked.  Salzburg here we come
