Bleeding very irratically
« on: January 30, 2024, 08:00:15 AM »

Hey All. I stopped bleeding for 3 months solid and then started bleeding again. The bleeding now is constant. I had one week's break in a month. I'm getting small period cramps with it. It's driving me mad bleeding constantly. Is this normal?

Morning.  How old R U ?   This may be peri-menopause?   My periods waxed and waned for several years: a normal cycle then would miss several ...... I knew it was 'the change' so it didn't bother me.  R the cramping symptoms cyclical?

Bleeds do go haywire in peri but I'd ask for a scan to see if there's a reason for it such as a fibroid or polyp. If the bleeding won't stop you can have tranexamic acid.

I am 50 years old. Started peri around 46. I have fibroids and polycystic ovaries.
