Couldn’t believe what I saw on the news.
All that water! 😳
So sad so many lost their lives. 😢

It may well affect the final MotoGP weekend in Valencia, out of respect I think that this weekend racing should be the last meeting!

Water knows no bounds and always finds it level, sweeping everything in front into a heap.  People under-estimate the force of water needed to tip 1 over  :-\

MotoGP - Racing for Valencia  :-*

Anyone going away this Christmas? We've booked a big lodge with hot tub on the east coast near Mablethorpe for 4 nights. My children and grandchildren, 9 of us altogether.
Going to be hard work cooking Christmas day but will be worth it.
As long as it's not raining I'll be wrapped up and walking along that seafront. Bit of a change from Lanzarote weather last Christmas but as long as we're all together I'm happy.

Great - would you B up to asking the others to 'bring a plate' rather than cater all at once?  We did our duty visit last week so are now at home.   No need to travel as Mum in the care home doesn't want to C us  ::).  I would like to go somewhere that doesn't mention the word at all  ;D other than Humbug ;-)

OH and I always disappear on a cruise, you can either join in on the festivities or not but there's no getting away from the flippin Xmas music 😂🤣

I HATED big gatherings  :'( with people who I didn't C from 1 year to the next.  Of course the adults knew each other but to me they were strangers .......... plus all the noise, rich food, keeping different hours -  no wonder I was ill every year  :-\

From 1975 DH and I travelled, 5-8 hours depending on the weather - which was OK when we were younger but it became expected of us!

Add to that the expectations of it all going well: visitors are like meat - OK the 1st day, a bit whiffy by the 3rd and by the 4th, well gone off  ;D
