Ayesha, that article was the one l mentioned upline..it was actually in the Observer magazine l think. So informative and really makes you think. It suggests many, many menopausal and post menopausal women have been wrongly diagnosed and given antibiotics when in fact they needed hormonal support.

There has got to be a change in thinking here, a post menopausal woman presenting with severe vaginal symptoms, never suffering before from such issues and the first thought must be a bladder infection and antibiotics prescribed.

I am still angry at the 3 lots of antibiotics I was given with no mention that it was a simple case of needing oestrogen, what is the medical profession up to, its bewildering!
