Mixing Sandrina gel levels
« on: December 03, 2023, 10:24:49 PM »

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well.
I am 63 yrs old and had previously suffered from terrible post menopause symptons.

I've been taking 0 5 mg Sandrina Gel along with Progesterone Cream for 2 yrs:

The ratio level = as instructed by GP.

Then (stupidly) I decided to increase Sandrina gel to 1.0 mg and double Progesterone cream. I did this for a week and had symptons that describe too much Estrogen??

Then in my (post menopausal thought process) decided to go back to 0.5 Sandrina gel with Progesterone: been taking this for 1 month.

I was advised to take a 3 day break from my hrt;

Now I am having pinkish blood everytime I wipe myself- this is the third day: I am due to resume hrt tmw?

I know I should have told my GP.
Do you think I am having "bleed breakthrough?

I have got myself in a right mess.

Please advise.

I did similar but foolishly didn't increase my progesterone. I bled constantly for 2 weeks and couldn't move out of the house. I have given myself a months break then going back on the lower dosage now everything has settled down. I just don't understand why my GP didnt tell me to increase my progesterone. It's only what I learned from here that made me put 2 and 2 together.
Personally, I'd wait till the lining of your womb has stopped shedding.
