Punked up traditional Irish ballads like no he else could every do. True poet.

I Saw him live so many times I lost count.. And it wasn't  all down to being drunk, a prerequisite at Pogues gigs. Fairytale of New York best known maybe, but some beautiful lines in many less known songs, and they are rightly revered. Proper musicians too.. I could go on and bore you all, but I won't. Loved and missed

Loved the pogues,can't say he was the best singer in the world but that music was fab
