Starter dose

Hi all,
I have been prescribed my first lot of HRT - hooray!
I've been prescribed a 50mcg estrogen patch to change twice a week and 200mcg utrogestan for the second half of my cycle.
Is this a standard starting point? I've no idea.

Hi, it has taken me several years to find something that works for me and I'm still tweeking it to be honest. I struggled with the patches and tablets so finally settled with oestrogel (1 pump but think I might have to up the dose soon) also take utrogestan 100mg daily as advised.
Stick with it we are all different and you'll find what works for you...it really is trial and error...Good luck
