Ok I need to get this off my chest and don’t know where else to share it. Long, so please try stay with me
My daughter, has PCOS and is trying to conceive. During their investigations the discovered that she has uterine dysplasia and needs some investigation. She suffers with anxiety and was quite worked up about it. She also had covid quite badly last week. She is very overweight and eats badly I need to add. She is 29.
Yesterday she went for the first procedure which was to insert a camera into her uterus. They took her bp ( has always been in normal range, last time at the doctor around 3 months ago it was 120/80)it was 195/120, they took it 3 times and it came down a little but not massively. Consultant was abrupt and said they couldn’t do the procedure as she might have a stroke, she started to cry and he asked her why she was crying ( such empathy!).
She went to her Gp who took her bp again a it was still very high so sent her to hospital, where the managed to get it down to 164/114 and sent her home with some Ramipril 50mg. The also said that there was protein in her urine and there may be kidney damage because of the bp
Her husband is a St John Volunteer and he took her bp this morning and it was 186/125! I have told her not to go to work and contact the hospital or her GP.
I am so so worried about her, I cannot even go to see her as we live 40 minutes away in the car and working today with a house full of children as a childminder. Her mother in law has been amazing!
I have worried about her health for years but I am so scared. She is just about so start a new job too! I cannot lose my lovely daughter.
If you got this far thank you, I just needed to share this as I am struggling and don’t know what to do.
