Oestrogel Prescriptions
« on: September 05, 2023, 04:31:45 PM »

How many bottles of Oestrogel does your GP prescribe at once?
Mine prescribed one and I'm hoping I can get that increased next time.

Thank you

Four, along with three months of utrogestan, so I think he was assuming I needed more than I did. One isn't very much at all, is that meant to be for one month? Have you got the exemption certificate yet?

Two I think when there was a shortage. Not sure now.

Thanks everyone, yes I have and HRT cert. I got 3 months of Utrogestan. I'll tell them I'd like 3 months of Oestrogel and see what happens.

Good idea, if they are giving out three months worth at a time, surely they can't expect one bottle of gel to last that long, you'd be on less than one pump a day!
