Hi skkb

I was diagnosed with this by an optician during lockdown but when my scans were sent to hospital they said it was actually csr which is normally temporary and should improve. I definitely attribute the two incidences of csr I had to high levels of cortisol in peri. Since then I'm on hrt so hope to have no more.

Definitely call the macular society for advice as they are excellent and will support you as well as signpost you to resources.

Yes that's right. So in theory it should resolve itself but although my fluid cleared resolving the worst of my symptoms, I have been left with macular damage in that eye.

Have you managed to find the information you needed skkb? Xxx

Hi yes thankyou, I have read loads. Hard and soft drusen can confuse the issue and it seems as we age we have have some degree of drusen which, if hard, may not progress to AMD, if soft then it might. Hopefully slowly.
