Burning/ painful feet
« on: July 25, 2023, 03:50:50 PM »

Hi,
I'm 42 and in the last week having pain in both feet - different places and not continuous - it seems to move around. The pain feels like sunburn. Feet look fine.
I checked for diabetes and cholesterol issues - all bloods came back fine as did b12, magnesium, iron, folate.

The only notable issue is that oestrogen is high (2058) as is testosterone and shbg.
I've been on oestrogen patches since Nov (dose of 50) and utrogestan. I was briefly on testsoterone gel but not since April.

Has anyone had burning pain in the soles of their feet and toes throughout the day?
I noticed a few months ago that occasionally leg swells but then goes away and that has happened for a while now, and all blood tests normal apart from hormones.
Could hormones be the culprit?

I think a good podiatrist would be my next stop. Could be nerve, musculoskeletal or circulatory problem. They have to know quite a bit about diagnostics these days.
You might at least get some ideas.
