Utrogestan Vaginal 200mg Capsules

Can the vaginal capsules be prescribed as part of HRT?

The 200 are only licenced for ivf in the UK not for hrt. No medical reason why you can't use them or 2x100 though, they're the same thing apart from the dose. It might be difficult to find an NHS gp who'll prescribe it, they tend to be a bit paranoid about off licence medication.

My gp recently said it was fine to use them vaginally. I had been doing so anyway!
