Hi just reading through the posts. I’ve just started everol 50 and conti patches.  My periods are erratic and haven’t had one for months.  My sleep was terrible, brain fog, anxiety high, fatigue and low mood.  Doctor suggested patched. I have  Just about to finish first month.   My sleep has definitely improved.  Mood swings come and go still feel quite down at times and emotional but the last week has been terrible.  Cramps, bloating back pain and flu like. Just spent day in bef I couldn’t move.  Hot water bottle helped. Has anyone else experienced this?  Hoping I’ll feel better tomorrow but may have to take some time off work. I can’t focus and have no energy. Slept most of the day.

Just wanted to say hello.

Whilst although I am on estradot and the mirena coil, so different from your own hrt regime, it did take me a couple of months to begin to see an improvement. I remember being very up and down with my moods ( definitely the worst symptom for me)  fatigue, sore boobs etc, in fact, and I have to say I felt so much worse once I began hrt,  I think of  it as my own hormones fighting with the added hrt hormones...but it DID  start to improve, even though I quickly changed from utrogestan to the mirena coil.

Please please know that all of us are individual,  and react to hormonal changes differently, and some women may I hope  see pretty quick improvements.
There are far more knowledgeable women on here than me, but I think most people say it can take 3 months for your body the adapt to hrt. But I do understand how awful you feel when all you want is to feel good.

Great step in coming into this forum, so helpful and supportive.
