Changing HRT
« on: January 20, 2023, 02:34:01 PM »

I was on Everol Conti 50, for about 6 months was working well.. stopped working.. contacted my GP... who has changed me to Kliovance 1mg/0.5 mg tablets once a day..
Just looking for folks experience on this particular HRT ..

Many thanks :)

Hi Kliovance has less oestrogen than the Evorel Conti patches. If you need more oestrogen you’d need to move to an oestrogen only patch or gel with a separate progesterone.

Hmmm thanks for that info Dotty. Wonder why she chose it then.
Any others input gratefully appreciated. :)

Here you will find a table showing the equivalent doses .

The equivalent tablet form of Evorel Conti is Elleste Duet Conti or Kliofem.

Interesting.. ta for that table of HRT prescribing... So does that mean Kliovance has a higher dose as its a daily pill as opposed to Everol Conti patch which was transdermal?

No it’s a lower dose. A 1mg tablet is (roughly ) equivalent to a 25 patch. x

Hi I would suggest asking for a 75 patch with Utrogestan for the progesterone. x
