i was just wondering if post meno ladies on hrt can get estrogen dominance.
how do you know if you are as i understand estrogen blood tests over 45yrs are unreliable so how therefore do you know x

It's possible to have too much oestrogen. Once you're meno and don't have your own peaks and troughs I thought testing could be useful? Though there are still fluctuations for a time after you stop having bleeds. Perhaps try reducing and see what happens?

i had bloods done a few weeks ago. thry were taken 2hrs after id put my gel on and they were 267. x

Yes as the dominance is about the ratio being off so it can happen at any age. I would test more with correcting it than blood tests, as it's hard to know what the ideal ratio would be.

Sorry I want clear, to take progesterone or DIM, for example, to counter the dominance and then see if you feel better.

That may not be enough against the 4 pumps of gel. The other way to bring it into better balance would be to decrease the oestrogen dose.
