Update from previous thread am now taking topical oestrogen for va and so much better . Also got diagnosed pre diabetes but only just and slightly up on cholesterol both of which I chose diet and lifestyle over and doing a nhs course with it, ut the but that’s absolutely crippling me is anxiety panic and racing heart most of the time! Had ecg last week all absolutely fine no concerns not sleeping much cos like palpitations come and go ,have got hrt to start but been to scared to, no bleed naturally for good couple months and been feeling shite ever since. I hope to god that by starting the gel on lowest dose and also have progesterone for 2 weeks on cycle this will work, can anyone relate?
Have got cbt booked in December just literally going off head and shaking what a rubbish thing it is x

Whilst anxiety can be caused by hormonal upheaval, if you are feeling so ill the ask your GP for a course of 'valium' - 5mg at night can help enormously.  Or Propranolol which can ease any cortisol surges in the morning.  U do not. have to suffer!

Sorry to hear you have all this going on Booroo. Anxiety is such a horrid thing to have. I think it is great you are trying CBT. Often having some coping methods can be so helpful. I really hope it helps. I remember how much pain you were in due to the VA so what wonderful news it is to hear there has been improvement there for you.

I think we can all relate to how you are feeling. You are not alone so keep posting. We are here to support you.

I would have really loved to have been prepared for all this. I was utterly clueless and still am.

VA needs life long treatment. Do not feel you have 'given in'. We all need treatment for it and should not have to put up with the pain it causes.

It's not giving in  - if U R hungry, do you not eat?  If you have a gift to choose, do you not buy one - that's not giving in to commercialism but giving with love.  If you have pain ...... etc..  The Change - does what it says on the tin  and is of course, natural.  Symptoms can be draining though.

Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary of use.
