Hi ladies.

Another awful night. I've tried the last 3 nights to up my oestrogel by a tiny amount, not even a quarter of a pump and I'm sitting here again headache, terrible ringing in ears,  stomach cramps worse than than the last two nights. Really panicking, cant wait for the morning. It's unbelievable that I can't tolerate a tiny little bit more than 1 pump.  I really have given up on the thought of having a normal life anymore.

I’m so sorry you’re suffering. Sending hugs.
Have you tried another type of HRT eg patches. I used Sandrena gel and found it far too harsh for me yet I was great with oestrogel.
Never give up  hope. It is a rollercoaster but you will get there eventually.

You might be better putting the Oestrogel on in the morning not night x

I've tried tablet form was which a lot worse for me. Scared to take my 1 pump tonight now. Feel so hopeless. Really struggling to cope.

Why do you think it would be better if I put it on in the morning?

Oestrogen is an energising hormone and in some ladies can produce the effects you mention. So it’s best to put it on in a morning and not before bed x

Yes the morning is definitely better as that’s when estrogen levels are naturally higher. x

But would I not get those side effects in the day then instead. The ringing in ears is scary if that happened at work I'd panic especially on my own. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

Regarding the ringing in ears, that's tinnitus, I have it and it started before I went on hrt.

Has the ringing in the ears only started since you began hrt, as I know that low estrogen levels can produce tinnitus xxx

I've had tinnitus for years and do not need to use HRT.

As oestrogen levels drop the Eustachian tubes may narrow = itching, tinnitus

Would I just miss a night and take oestrogel in the morning instead to switch and would I still take the utrogestan at night? Thank you very much for your help.

Hello ladies.

Looking for some advice again please.

I used my oestrogel this morning instead of night time hoping to lessen the side effects, but unfortunately instead of having the headache during the night I've had piercing headache all day. I don't know whether to try this for another day or just go back to night time as the disturbed sleep is better than headache and feeling spaced out all day.

Any advice again please ladies. Thank you for your help.
