Hrt help
« on: November 07, 2022, 05:24:44 PM »

Hi ladies,
Just a quick question, when increasing dose of oestrogen how long do you wait to feel the benefits,  is it straight away or three months as like when you first start it?

Hi

My doctor said you should feel a difference within two weeks. I think we are all different though so it just depends  on our bodies.

When I was first on patches I had to wait 4 weeks in between each increase, I think I knew after about 2 weeks when I went up to the higher dose. When I switched from patches to spray I noticed a difference in a week, but I hadn’t been absorbing from the patch properly. Hope the gel increase helps soon.

Hi,
Thank you hannah2,
I'm hoping to see an improvement and when I can get a gp appointment I will ask for another blood test and have it done before applying the gel and see if levels are up,
