Evorel Conti - pain in leg joint

Hi Everyone, have just joined MM and I have a question re Evorel Conti. I started taking EC nearly 3 months ago and it has definitely helped with the hot flushes however I recently started getting a pain in the joint of my right leg. It swells up at the side and feels warm to touch. Some days it is worse than others so I am a bit concerned it might be a side effect of the EC. Has anyone had any similar experiences?

Hi anitahay21, welcome to the forum sorry to see no one replied to your first post, I can't advise you about everol conti and possible side effects as I never used it, when you say the joint of your right leg, is this your knee? If so I had those symptoms and an xray showed it to be osteoarthritis, the fact it feels warm to the touch suggests a possible infection so I would see your gp just to put your mind at rest x

Hello anitahay21 and welcome to the forum.
I agree with Amazing grace that your knee pain may be inflammation. Your GP should be able to diagnose the cause and offer you the appropriate treatment.
Take care and let us know how you get on

Hi Kathleen/Amazing Grace, I hope you get my reply as not sure if I'm doing this right! Perhaps you can let me know. Yes the pain is at the side and the back, mainly in the middle of the leg. Thanks for the advice, I will definitely go and see my GP.
