Did you have it in your scalp too? Don't know how to manage scalp scared about hair loss. Did you manage to take HRT to settle the dryness?

Yes, I had such an itchy scalp. I could not sleep much due to the itching. This was before I know I was menopausal. Dr did not know what to do and just gave me an extra antihistamine. I googled and realised with my other symptoms, it was lack of oestrogen. Once I started with the oestrogen patch the itching stopped.

I totally understand your concerns. I still think it could be worth you starting on the lowest oestrogen patch just to see how you go. This is how I started. I know you need to do what you are comfortable with.
