Morning 

I've really struggled with bad side effects from HRT and have just given up on them, but I've been doing a lot of reading about women using testosterone gel as a stand alone for menopause and that it is really improving their symptoms without any of the side effects associated with oestrogen/progesterone based meds.

Does anyone on here take just that stand alone and if so, how often are you applying it, what has your experience been and have you had any negative side effects?

Feeling really demoralised with the whole thing....I see people who seem to change their lives for the better with HRT and say it makes them feel amazing and I'm just not getting on with it all ....finding it really tough at the moment  .

Any feedback massively appreciated.

I agree I don't have anything really to add but wondering if HRT isn't for me either. I have an implant ATM but not sure I'll have it again.
Tried testosterone but ended up with side stubble

Side stubble....god that doesn't sound great. How much were you using?

I'm in a slightly different position.

I'm taking prog only - but hsving a, really bad time of it. Akso now taking low dose testosterone avd think I like that.

So if the prog doesnt work, I'd try just test. Why not?!!!
